Urology
Kocaeli University School of Medicine, Department of Urology was founded in 1995 by Prof. Ali GÖKALP. So far, thirty residents have completed their urologist residency training program and have been awarded the urology specialist. Currently (July 2022), four professors, two associate professors, and thirteen residents work in the department.

Urology residency program and training process:
The physician who successfully passed the medical specialty exam starts the Urology Residency program.
The education time of the urology residents is 5 years.
Rotations of residents: General Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Nephrology.
To the extent possible, all residents are supported to attend national courses and congresses.
